ANTELOPE VALLEY MODEL RAILROAD CLUB 6 August 2004 Lancaster, California Minutes of the August 2004 regular business meeting. CALL TO ORDER President Tate called the meeting to order at 2000 hours in front of the Club car at Granicys Square. ROLL CALL Members present: R. Boone, T. Crawford, T. Fidger, D. Frozina, B. Haynes, M. Lacey, M. McKennie, H. Morris, and D. Tate. Guests present: None. DISPOSITION OF THE MINUTES Mr. Crawford moved and Mr. Lacey seconded that the minutes from the last meeting be approved as written. The motion passed unanimously. COMMUNICATIONS Mr. Crawford reported on mail from the following: Cal Bank and Trust, statements; J.A. Bash and Co., insurance; Mouser, catalog; NMRA, bulletin; T&T Truck and Crane Service, remainder due bill. Mr. Tate reported on his phone conversation with Julie of T&T Truck and Crane Service. Mr. Crawford reported on an e-mail, forwarded from Joe Beasley, regarding a possible Girl Scout visit. OFFICER REPORTS President: Mr. Tate reported that the man gate lock and latch have been replaced. Vice President: Mr. Crawford had no report. Secretary: Mr. Frozina reported that the website has been updated. Treasurer: Mr. Crawford reported that we're almost solvent. Publicist: Ms. Cenkner was absent. Superintendent: Mr. McKennie had no report. COMMITTEE REPORTS None. SPECIAL ORDERS None. UNFINISHED BUSINESS Electricity: Mr. Crawford reported on the installation of the 200-amp panel. Still to be done: add offset, conduit, weatherhead, place poles, etc. NEW BUSINESS Dig Alert: Dig Alert will be called to locate underground utilities in preparation for the placement of the poles. ANNOUNCEMENTS None. NEXT MEETING The next regular business meeting will be on Friday, 10 September 2004, at 2000 hours at the Club Car.
