ANTELOPE VALLEY MODEL RAILROAD CLUB 1 December 2006 Lancaster, California Minutes of the December 2006 regular business meeting. CALL TO ORDER President Fidger called the meeting to order at 2001 hours in the Club Car at Granicys Square. ROLL CALL Members present: R. Boone, T. Fidger, D. Frozina, M. Lacey, M. McKennie, and D. Tate. Guest present: None. DISPOSITION OF THE MINUTES Mr. Tate moved and Mr. Lacey seconded that the minutes from the last meeting be approved as written. The motion passed unanimously. COMMUNICATIONS USPS, PO Box renewal; Andy Gump, fence rental. OFFICER REPORTS President: Mr. Fidger reported a) that Mr. Yost has a new job and that's why we haven't seen much of him. b) that Mr. Crawford said that it's snowing in Colorado. c) that Mr. McKennie has been back in Chicago due to family business. Vice President: Mr. Lacey had no report. Secretary: Mr. Frozina reported that when we had the access issue to the website, it was because our provider's system crashed and had to be restored to an earlier backup. Mr. Lacey told Mr. Frozina that he noticed some oddities on the membership page. Mr. Frozina investigated and determined that the restored website was over a year old. Mr. Frozina will update webpages as necessary. Treasurer: Mr. Tate reported that we are doing really well. Publicist: Mr. Morris was absent. Superintendent: Mr. Yost was absent. COMMITTEE REPORTS Construction: Mr. McKennie reported that we would bring in the prints for the west landing and stairs. Electrical: Mr. Tate had no report. Grounds: Mr. McKennie reported that the Club Car is crowded by trucks. Housekeeping: Mr. Lacey had no report. Rolling Stock: Mr. Madriaga was absent. Scenery/Structures: Mr. Morris was absent. Track: Mr. Tate had no report. SPECIAL ORDERS Ballots were distributed to eligible voting members, filled out, collected, and counted by Mr. Frozina. Mr. Frozina reported on the election outcome. The following persons were elected to office for 2007: President: Tom Fidger Treasurer: Don Tate Vice President: Mike Lacey Publicist: Hank Morris Secretary: Don Frozina Superintendent: Mitch Yost UNFINISHED BUSINESS Doghouse: Mr. Tate reported that he painted the plywood for the back. It now needs to be installed. Fence: Nothing to report. Stairs: See Construction Committee report. Club Cards: Mr. Morris was absent. Holiday Banquet: 20-22 persons. Sunday, 12/17, 2 pm at The Texas Cattle Company in Lancaster. DCC Breakers: Nothing to report. NEW BUSINESS None. ANNOUNCEMENTS None.
